Equipment Rental Payment
Little Skipjacks Play agrees to rent the item(s) as described in the Clients chosen package for the agreed upon rental period. The Client acknowledges that payment in full will be charged the day before your scheduled event.
If additional time is request that will be invoiced separately.
Transportation Fees
Travel within Queen Annes County will be free of charge. Any location outside of that radius will be priced per account.
Package Set Up
Little Skipjacks Play will set up the customers chosen equipment in the location of the customers preference. Please be advised that we will require power within 100 feet and a relatively flat space (we cannot set up on an incline or hill). If the customer would like changes to the set up, please advise with the crew during set up.
Should the customer not have power within 100 feet of the preferred set up, a generator fee may be applied to the final invoice.
Location
At the time of booking, the Client agrees to provide an accurate address for the event venue. We ask that any parking, access, or entry information be shared it’s the Little Skipjacks Play team during the consultation call.
Play Area Rules
The Client agrees to adhere to the following rules when renting the play equipment:
– Please remove shoes before entering (we do recommend leaving socks on)
– Leave any keys, jewelry, unfastened eyeglasses, and sharp objects outside of the play area
– No pets, food, and drinks inside the play area
– All children must remain supervised at all times
– Avoid any and all rough behavior and refrain from hanging on the walls in the bounce house, play house, and soft play area
– No silly string, sparkles, confetti, etc allowed
– The bounce house must remain staked and in the original placement at the time of set up
– Do not use the bounce house if winds exceed 25 MPH or when it is raining. If this occurs, exit the bounce house and turn off the blower
– Use the designated entrance and exit of the area for safety
– The bounce house generally accommodates 4-6 children at a time
– The soft play space accommodates approximately 10 children at time
– The bounce house should not be used by adults at any time unless for an emergency
Safety and Operating Instructions
Little Skipjacks Play asks all clients and participants to please keep all safety signage on display through the duration of the event. We ask that all participants and responsible parties read the instructions and operate the equipment accordingly.
The Client acknowledges that there is a risk of damage or injury with the use of the bounce house and agrees to be responsible for the safe and correct operation and use of the bounce house. The Client agrees not to operate the bounce house in unsafe conditions. The bounce house should not be placed near a fire or water source.
Weather Conditions
All rental equipment should not be used during rain, strong winds, thunderstorms, or other adverse weather conditions that could pose safety risk.

Indemnification
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Little Skipjacks Play and its employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with the Client’s use of the equipment during the rental period, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Lawn Damage
In the event that any rental equipment causes damage to the client’s lawn, Little Skipjacks Play shall not be held responsible for any repair or replacement costs associated with restoring the lawn to its original condition. The client assumes all liability for any potential damage caused by the rental equipment and acknowledges that such risks are inherent when using such equipment on outdoor surfaces. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the proper placement and usage of the rental equipment to minimize any potential harm to the lawn.
Photography
Little Skipjacks Play reserves the right to photograph the rental equipment they provide at the Client’s event for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to a website, social media, portfolio, and advertising materials. The Client grants Little Skipjacks Play the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use these photographs without any compensation or approval.
Handling Equipment Problems
If the equipment does not function properly or the Client does not fully understand the operation instructions provided, the Client will cease any use of the play areas. If the bounce house deflates, the users should immediately exit. The Client should call Little Skipjacks Play at (410)934-7433.
Rescheduling and Cancellation
At the time of booking, we will take a deposit. The Client may request to reschedule the event to a mutually agreed-upon date and time, subject to the Company’s availability. We ask that you please reschedule or cancel ant least 2 days (48 hours) before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee of $50.00.
Weather Cancellation
In the event that there is bad weather in the forecast, the Little Skipjacks Play team will be in contact with the Client. We do encourage all Clients to have an indoor option (i.e. living room, garage, tented area outside, alternative venue).
Last Minute Cancellations
The Little Skipjacks Play team understands that there are situations that may require cancelling or rescheduling (i.e. weather, illness, family issues, timing, etc) last minute. We do encourage everyone to consider an indoor option or a possible reschedule date if possible. We are more than happy to accommodate rescheduling, based on availability. Please contact the office as soon as possible to discuss further options.
Tipping
Tipping is accepted as a kind gesture for exceptional service, but it is not expected. If you wish to show your appreciation, you can do so via Venmo. Our main priority is to ensure you have a wonderful experience, regardless of gratuity. Thank you for being a valued customer!
